2007 International Excellence Awards Announced

The International Programs Office initiated the International Excellence Awards in 1992 to recognize the efforts of faculty, administrators, staff members and others who have shown excellence in promoting international education, developing international linkages, or establishing cultural awareness opportunities on campus and in the community even though their job description does not require them to do so. As of 2006, 131 individuals and several teams have been recognized for their international excellence. The Awards are facilitated by the Office of International Outreach with a call for nominations sent in early spring with awards presented at a reception in April.
