International Protocol Every other year we offer a workshop for faculty, staff, and community leaders on Hosting International Visitors. The Workshop for 2004 will take place on August 18. It is designed to help participants anticipant and understand the needs of international visitors to our campus and community. The International Center is available to answer protocol questions such as how to address a foreign dignitary and the placement of the U.S. flag in relation to other flags both foreign and domestic. While the International Center has books and printed information about protocol, etiquette, and cultural awareness issues to share with callers, we often direct those who have questions to the U.S. State Department.
