Ambassador from Qatar to Speak at Texas A&M

His Excellency Nasser Bin Hamad M. Al-Khalifa, Ambassador to the United States from the State of Qatar will present the Keynote Address for Celebrating Arab Cultures Week on Feb. 8, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. in the Orientation Theater of the George Bush Presidential Conference Center

Nasser Bin Hamad M. Al-Khalifa became ambassador of Qatar to the United States and nonresident ambassador to Mexico in 2005. He previously served as ambassador to the United Kingdom and nonresident ambassador to Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands and Norway, as well as Qatar’s permanent representative to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and the International Maritime Organization.

The Keynote Address is a free but ticketed event. Tickets are available at the MSC Box Office and the Office of International Outreach in the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center in the Bush Presidential Library Complex.
