Brazos Valley WorldFest
Saturday, November 17, 2007, 10a.m. to 5 p.m., in Downtown Bryan

Mission statement: To promote and celebrate international diversity in the Brazos Valley.

The concept of the Brazos Valley Worldfest was developed after the November 2005, International Education Week celebration. Many of the same planning partners thought a festival celebrating the cultures and heritage of the Brazos Valley would be a benefit to the entire community. After a year of preliminary planning, the festival date was set and fundraising began. The festival will be a day-long event including cultural/country displays, international food vendors, performances from local and area artists and organizations, storytelling, photography exhibit, hands-on arts and crafts and much more.
